HOW TO DONATE
Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of TEAM GYPSY KIDS (CHILD SPONSORSHIPS). Through your generosity we can feed and provide basic care for up to 200 gypsy children in Mukachevo gypsy camp, Ukraine. By the spring of 2013, we hope to have a soup kitchen in place in Beregovo gypsy camp, Ukraine, that can feed up to 150 children. You can also particpate on the team through SPECIAL DONATIONS for the children.
CHILD SPONSORSHIPS
Our primary support is through Child Sponsorships. As a sponsor, you can select a child for your directed donation of $30 per month. This $1 a day goes a long way, covering the cost of a hot meal each day, basic care, and the daily love and encouragement from our excellent gypsy leadership team serving the needs of the children in the gypsy camps.
This is a great program and we need new sponsors now as we are adding new children to the program every month. If you are interested in supporting a child, email us at teamgypsykids@gmail.com We will reply to your email and set up a time for us to talk by phone. Once we have established some general information, we will send several photos to you to pick out your precious gypsy child to sponsor.
SPECIAL DONATIONS
You can make a special donation towards the current Building Project, Clothing, Utensils, Backpacks, Winter Gloves, Boots, Blankets and Pajamas. Please use the #742 code provided below.
Also, in Beregovo camp we are currently in phase 1 contruction of a new soup kitchen with table seating for the children. There will be additional rooms included in this phase of the construction to be used as classrooms. Work is proceding when weather permits. We're hopeful to complete this construction phase during the spring of 2013. QUESTION: "ARE DONATIONS TAX DEDUCTIBLE"?
ANSWER: TEAM GYPSY KIDS is NOT set up to receive donations. However, we have partnered with CALVARY COMMUNITY CHURCH of Westlake Village, California (www.calvarycc.org). You may make your checks payable to "Calvary Community Church", and direct your donations to one of the following mission accounts stated below. These contributions to Calvary Community Church are tax deductible. You may also donate online through www.calvarycc.org/onlinedonations:
